The Third Sector Database enables:

• Individuals requiring services or wanting to contribute to find voluntary and community sector activities in their neighbourhoods

• Organisations to identify each other for support or collaboration

• Funders and other stakeholders to fully involve and consult widely on decisions and to deliver services

• A strong research base for sector planning

Do you want to search for information?

All visitors to this site can search for organisations using a number of filters.   If you know the name of the organisation, or a person at the organisation, you are looking for, simply enter the name in the Quick Search box on the left.  If you want to search for organisations that provide particular services, click on Advanced Search and tick the relevant filter boxes to expand each section.

Do you want to register your organisation?

If you represent a third sector organisation in Birmingham you can register their details as well as individual contacts by clicking on the button below.  Before doing so please check that your organisation isn’t already registered by entering all or part of the organisation’s name in the Quick Search box. For more information about the registration process download a copy of our Getting Started Guide Once registered your organisation will have the facility to manage its own data.  You can also apply to become a member of BVSC, join the Third Sector Assembly, and subscribe to Update Magazine.
